The show follows the city through the lives and works of its influential cultural figures, linking Hong Kong with Beijing, New York and London. It covers more than 50 artists and makers, from the paintings of Luis Chan and the architecture of Tao Ho to the street art of Tsang Tsou-choi.
The museum frames it as a look at the demographic, economic and political changes of the past 50 years. Tickets are sold on the M+ site.
