Race day for the marathon, half marathon, 10 km and 10 km wheelchair race is Sunday 17 January 2027, starting on Nathan Road in Tsim Sha Tsui and finishing at Victoria Park. The marathon quota is 18,000, with an entry fee of HKD 600 for local runners and USD 90 for non-local runners; main-race registration ran from 11 to 20 September 2026 by public ballot.
The organiser reports a record main-race registration of over 140,000 entries and a record quota of 78,000. On Saturday 16 January 2027 a new 5 km Harbourfront Run (HKD 300, public ballot) goes from Kai Tak Youth Sports Ground to the Kai Tak Promenade, and a Youth Run of about 2 km (HKD 200) is open to children born 2012 to 2017.
